| October 31, 2004 | My First Halloween was spent shopping with Mom and Dad. We needed a new washing machine because last week the washing machine stopped spinning so dad started fixing it. This weekend were getting a new washing machine, connection? You be the judge! After we got home daddy set up the new washer, and I got to play in the empty box. With the new washer up & running mom decided to go to the store because she didn't think daddy got enough candy for the trick or treaters. As it turns out, mommy was right, because we got slammed, daddy was even thinking about putting in an express lane. All in all halloween must have been a success because we were given a lot of compliments on daddy's decorations, we had a dead body under the truck, spiders crawling on the truck, a dead witch in the cemetary, ghosts in the tree, & even a pumpkin that was carved on the top instead of the side, and yes it is snow all over the decorations. |
| October 30, 2004 | I woke up this morning at about 5:30am and Daddy came in to see me. He was half a sleep and seemed surprised that I was standing up, maybe the screaming woke him up, I'll have to try it again in a few days and see what happenes. Anyway daddy has to work another open to close shift today so it's just me & mom until after 7:30 tonight. I like spending time with mommy, she lets me crawl on the floor, and I let her hold me. It's a win-win scenario. I did get sick again, but other then that it's been a pretty good day. |
| October 29, 2004 | I started the morning off at Auntie Karen's as usual, however the day quickly became exciting after mommy picked me up early. Mommy took me back to her work where I woke up to my amazement to see Daddy, Aunt Regina, Aunt Jackie, and my cousins; Kylee, Cody, Courtney, Christopher, & Cassidy. We were all at Regis University and my cousins were all in costume. Soon mommy & daddy were dressing me up as the "HULK". We all went Trick or Treating all over the campus, I probably got the smallest pile of loot, but all my cousins chipped in and gave me (and daddy) some of their candy. After Trick or Treating we went to Amicis to celebrate Aunt Regina's Birthday. The worst thing that happened today is that before we could even order dinner I got sick & threw up all over mommy. I'm sorry mom!!! After that the night was pretty much over, we jumped back in the car and drove home. |
| October 28, 2004 | Today I was so sick to my tummy. I started the day off over at Auntie Karen's, but after lunch I threw up three times all within a half hour. I don't like throwing up, it's worse then spit up. The best part of today is that mommy came to get me just a little while after she dropped me off, so I got to spend the day with Mommy. Daddy was doing an inventory at work so he had to work all day, so it was just me and my ma. I threw up a few more times with mommy, but once I got all the gunk out of my stomach I was feeling a lot better. The rest of the day went pretty good, the only other bad thing that happened is that Comit started barking while I was taking a nap, and it woke me up. Darn Dog!!!! PS - Happy Birthday Aunt Regina |
| October 27, 2004 | Today I learned to share from comit & scratch, so I'm sharing these pictures with all of you. The best thing that happened today is that I took two steps all by myself. I was at Auntie Karen's house playing in the toy box, and I decided that I wanted to go see what was on the couch, I stepped out from the toy box and then took another step before realizing that I had nothing to hold onto, so I sat down before I fell down. The worst thing that happened today is that ever since Daddy found out that I took two steps he's been trying to get me to repeat it. The man will not rest, he seems obsessed, he hasn't even tried to watch a single buffy episode. |
| October 26, 2004 | Tuesday is usually a day that I spend with Auntie Karen at her house, however today I stayed home with Daddy. When I woke up this morning and found out that I would be spending the day with dad I thought something might be up, but I wasn't sure as to what that something might be. As the day wore on I started getting the impression that we may be going somewhere, still not positive as to where, I decided to cry until daddy told me, all that got me was a nap, I think I may have been too fussy? Anyway after my nap daddy dressed me and we hit the road. It didn't taker long for us to get to our destination, and as I suspected, it was the Doctor's office. All in all this was my favorite doctor's visit. I only received one shot and it was a "FLU" shot ( I usually get four shot's). I'm now 29 1/4" Tall, and I weight 20 lbs 3oz. That's right, I have grown 10" and 14 lbs. since my birth, just 9 month's ago. |
| October 25, 2004 | I can't believe that yesterday I had my 9 month birthday, and not one family member wished me a happy birthday, sheesh. Don't you people know that I have now officially been out of the womb longer then I was in it. Well I guess I'm gonna have to forgive you all this time, Today I did get my first keyboard from Grandma Audrey Renke - Thank's Grandma (and she thought it was going to charity (bwahahahahahahahahahaha). |

Lazy sundays are fun, no need to run all over town when
everything we need is right here in the house (me, Mommy, & Daddy).
The things missing of course, are all the other family members. Speaking

| October 23, 2004 | The best thing that happened today is that I got to carve
my very first pumpkin.
I woke Daddy up at about 8am and he came in and got me, he asked me to be
quiet because Mommy was still sleeping so we quietly went down the hall
and started making my breakfast. After breakfast Daddy covered the floor
of the kitchen with newspaper and cut the top off of the pumpkin I picked
out at the pumpkin Patch on Thursday. I tried to tip the pumpkin over but
it was too big for me, so Daddy held it over and let me put my hand's in
it. Everything was cold & slimy. Daddy tried to give me some of the
pumpkin guts; they were gross. I liked the pumpkin the best. I sucked on
an eye that Daddy cut out for the longest time. I even tried a couple of
the seeds, but Daddy took them away from me because they were too big for
me. Another big thing that happened today is that I got new shelves in my

| October 22, 2004 | Today is Friday, and it's my last day of the week at Auntie Karen's. Jessica's sister Courtney came today so Auntie Karen decided to take us all back to the Pumpkin patch because for some reason she felt that we didn't have enough pumpkins in the garage????? When Daddy came to pick me up at 6pm Auntie Karen was getting ready to leave. She had an employee call in on her and she had to go clean a house before a client's guests got to his house at 8ish. So Daddy and I took off out the door like a snowball falling uphill. Actually we left pretty quick so we could get home to Mommy. Daddy has been trying to give Mommy some extra time to work on her homework, but when we got home at 6:30pm she was chillin on the couch. Naughty Mommy!!! |
| October 21, 2004 | Today was one of the greatest days of my life. Why was it so great you ask? I got to go to a pumpkin patch and pick out my very own pumpkins. Click here to see my pumpkins. I was having a little trouble carrying the pumpkins, but I received a little help from Auntie Karen. Auntie Karen loves Pumpkin Patches, she picked up like 1000 pumpkins and loaded up the Garage with them. After the pumpkin patch we all came back to Auntie Karen's where it was nap time. As soon as I fell asleep Daddy showed up to pick me up. Mommy had school tonight so I didn't get to see her at all, but Daddy made sure I had dinner and clean cloths for bed. I guess maybe spending one night a week with just Dad isn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. |
| October 20, 2004 | Today I tried a few new foods. Marshmallows are good, but gooey. Toasted Cheese Sandwiches are great, I love the cheese cause it's gooey, but not as gooey as the marshmallows. Finally I was given gold fish. They're cheesy like the toasted sandwich, but they're crunchy. All these new textures on my tongue. It was like an explosion of flavors that I never could have imagined. |
| October 19, 2004 | The best thing that happened today is I decided to take a step out while playing "Stand Up Big Boy". Yep that's right, I was standing up in the middle of the room with Auntie Karen and decided to take a couple of steps toward her before I lost my balance and fell down. Daddy is hoping that I'll take more steps and mommy wants me to stay a little guy, so it'll probably be a few days before I'm up and running around on my own. |
| October 18, 2004 | Another Monday, another week at Auntie Karen's. Today Auntie Karen said I was boring because I wasn't doing anything new. However I have been speed crawling with my legs, unfortunately I haven't been moving my arms fast enough to keep up with my legs so I keep face planting myself into the rug. Talk about painful, Ouch!!! After that I just want someone to hold me. The best thing that happened today is that I got to take a long nap. Everyone should get a siesta in the middle of the day. New food for the day is whole green beans, I love em. New trick of the day is figuring out that I can crawl across the floor holding my bottle in my teeth so I can carry it. Mommy & Daddy laughed, but I was very smart to figure it out. |
| October 17, 2004 | Sunday again, OK I started the day off by crawling all over Mommy & Daddy in their bed. It was so fun I even got to grab Daddy's chest hair and pull real hard. Daddy spent the day building shelves in the pantry for Mommy. Mommy just loves her new shelves, she has like ten times the storage space that she did with the old wire shelves. Mommy spent the day doing the laundry and picking on daddy, she seems to really enjoy picking on daddy too. The best thing that happened today is that Grandma Audrey Renke came over for a visit. She said she was there to see Mommy and Daddy, but we all know who she was really focused on. That's right loveable little me. |
| October 16, 2004 | Saturday morning without Daddy is kinda sad, but I do get to spend the day with Mommy. I really enjoy my Mommy time, we don't get much time with just me & her. Mommy & I played and we even worked on standup big boy . I'm getting a lot better at balancing, and I can even let myself down usually without hurting myself or face planting. |
| October 15, 2004 | Friday, Daddy & Mommy woke me up this morning, it was great seeing both of them first thing, it was like a cup of coffee but without all the twitching and nervousness I had when Daddy gave me some a few days ago (just kidding). Anyway after a bath with Daddy we were off to daycare. I spent the day crawling, sleeping and eating. Auntie Karen has been teaching me to walk along the couch by putting toys on the couch so I have to stand up to get to them, and then she puts more toys down the couch so I have to walk down the couch to get to the next toy. It's fun and I get to exercise my little legs. |
| October 14, 2004 | Ok it's Thursday and I'm gonna spend the day with Auntie Karen. We always have fun there because I get to play with all the girls. There is Jessica she's 3 1/2 and loves to be helpful around the house. She even helps Auntie Karen change the girl's diapers, but not mine. Then there is Taryn & Makayla, there both 1 1/2 and cute. Taryn loves to call me by name and Makayla always growls at daddy when he comes over, I think she does it just to get tickled. Finally the youngest girl of them all is Kyla, she doesn't get around much but she's starting to make a lot of noise. Daddy picked me up after work today & we went shopping. Dad took me to the store I was awake all through the store, but fell asleep on the way home. Daddy had to wake me up at home just to feed me dinner & get me dressed for bed. I stayed up until Mommy got home so I could see her (I love her hugs) after that I decided it must be bedtime because Mommy & Daddy had left me in the crib, with the lights out. |
| October 13, 2004 | Today I get to spend the day with Daddy. Daddy is off today and so were gonna play all day, starting at 4am? 4am - that was when Mommy gave up trying to get me to go to sleep and came into the bedroom so she could sleep herself. Daddy knew he had two options-take care of me, or sleep on the couch. So Daddy and I played on the computer until about 5:30 or so when I fell asleep sitting up in his arms. Daddy makes one big fluffy pillow. Anyway the next thing I know it's 10:30am and Daddy is crawling around on the floor under my crib, he thinks I can't see him, but the dog gives him away every time. Daddy and I took a shower/bath and then we had lunch. After lunch Daddy spent the day cleaning the bedroom and living room, mostly we were just trying to surprise Mommy when she got home. Daddy moved a table into the living room and laid it on it's side to keep me in the living room. If I stand on my tippy toes I can see over the table, but I get lonely so when Daddy leaves my sight I get his attention by screaming real loud. What a day, I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight (up every few hours). |
| October 12, 2004 | Tuesdays are always fun because everyone seems happier then they did on Monday. I'm not really sure as to why, maybe it's that evil thing they keep talking about (WORK!). As usual I spent my day with Auntie Karen and today we had fun with jello. When Daddy came to pick me up I still had a little bit in my hair. Daddy was gonna make dinner tonight but Mommy text him and asked him if he wanted Pizza. Of course the answer was yes, so we ordered our free pizza from Pizza Hut's VIP web site and when it arrived Daddy let me share his crust with him. I love pizza crust. |
| October 11, 2004 | Monday, back to daycare. Daddy dropped me off at Auntie Karen's today and she was so happy to see me. Auntie Karen bought me a bunch of clothes from a garage sale. My day was pretty easy. I had two very long naps. Daddy is hoping that I'll sleep through the night. After I got home from Auntie Karen's Mommy let me play on the floor while she made dinner. The best thing that happened today is that I walked several steps with absolutely no help from Mommy or Daddy. That's right I used Comit to pull myself up to a standing position, and then Comit started to walk off. I hung on and just started walking. P. S. Happy Birthday Nanna! |
| October 10, 2004 | Sunday, Today was a rest day from Saturday. We watched the second Half of V The Miniseries & the first half of V The Final Battle. It was great, did you know the visitors are really Reptilian Aliens that eat mice alive. WOW!!!! Anyway that was pretty much the highlite of the day. I spent the day being pretty fussy. I just wanted a lot of attention. and daddy was darning his socks while mommy was clipping coupons. Heck even Comit was busy checking out the backyard while scratch was bust giving himself a bath. Well I guess I'll have to teach them by staying up all night, like I did last night. Then again it's mommy's night, so maybe I'll be nice to her. |
| October 9, 2004 | What a busy Saturday. We started the morning off with the phone ringing, which woke everyone in the house up. Auntie Karen was calling us, because there was a garage sale by her and they had a bunch of boys clothes. Sometimes I think she's more excited about getting me new stuff then mommy & daddy. After breakfast & a bath with daddy it was off to the Lochbuie Fall festival at Lochbuie Elementary. We live in a small town so it was a small festival. There was a live band from KOOL 105, about three booth's with games, Food was limited to Hot Dogs, Cotton Candy, & popcorn, There was a couple large air filled structures for kids to play on, but mommy thought I was too young. Mommy & Daddy even picked up a yard sign for amendment 3A & 3B because the high schools in Brighton are over crowded, & desperately need to be improved. After the fall festival we all jumped in the car for a long drive. The first stop was at Sam"s Club for Diapers, Wipes< & Formula. Second stop was Foley"s for my new Winter Coat, it"s a little big but should get me through the winter. Finally we made it to Nanna & Papa Mike"s. Nanna played with me a lot, and she even let mommy & daddy go to a haunted house. Mommy & Daddy went to the Carnaevil Haunted House at Bowls & Wadsworth. Daddy said it wasn't the greatest haunted house he had ever been in, but at least it was free with no waiting in line. The family of four in front of mommy & daddy paid $80 for the same thing mommy & daddy got for free, about 20 minutes of so-so terror. |
| October 8, 2004 | Today was another Friday at Auntie Karen's. Nothing new happened today, just more of the same. Mommy dropped me off and I spent the day playing on the playset that Daddy built, and playing with Auntie Karen. Auntie Karen is definitely one of my favorite toys. She's been teaching me to stand up. After we got home, Daddy and Mommy had dinner & fed me. The best thing that happened tonight is Mommy turned off the TV (Daddy was scared at first, but he was ok after the shock wore off.), and then Mommy & Daddy played with me, we crawled around and I climbed on Mommy it was great. Daddy even stuck me in a big bowl and pushed me around the floor like I was in a flying saucer. Comit barked at us a lot, she's my protector. |
| October 7, 2004 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA RENKE!!! Today started out as a normal day. I spent the morning & afternoon with Auntie Karen. The fun started when Daddy picked me up, we stopped by the house to change clothes, let the doggy out, & grab my diaper bag. After that we took off to Aunt Regina's for Grandpa Renke's B-day party. We were the first to show, but within a few minutes the house was packed. Daddy fed me in my portable high chair & then let my cousin Conner borrow the chair so he could eat. I loved playing with everyone. Conner sat up on his own for the first time tonight and was doing a soldier crawl. My cousin Cassidy was helping me with my bottle, and Grandpa let me drive his truck (he held me & ran me around the living room while he made me push in the clutch & stuff, it was fun!!!). I got to ride Aunt Jackie like a horse which was fun until I fell off and hit my head. OUCH!!!! Today was the best 64th birthday party I have ever had. PS - My prayers go out to Aunt Becca and her family! |
| October 6, 2004 | Daddy woke me up at 7am this morning and brought me into the Master Bedroom. Mommy was sleeping, but I soon took care of that. It didn't take long to crawl over and up her. After Mommy got in the shower Daddy and I went into the living room and practiced standing up. Daddy set up the camcorder & tried to tape me standing, but I decided to make it hard on him. Don't worry as soon as I get better at standing up Daddy will put a video up. I spent the day with Auntie Karen where I ate 10 green grapes which I love. |
| October 5, 2004 | Today Auntie Karen and I stood up!!! a lot!!! That's right, Auntie Karen was working with me all day to get me to stand up, and to work on my balance. I was even able to balance for about ten seconds standing up. I tried to take a step out, but I'm still not ready for walking on my own yet. New foods for the day include green grapes, cucumbers, and daddy shared his doughnut's. |
| October 4, 2004 | The biggest thing that happened today is that our town almost got hit by a tornado. That's right a "TORNADO". In October??? That's right at about 4pm today the top of Auntie Karens house started shaking all over the place and so we all headed to the bathroom. It was kinda scary, but the good news is that the Tornado never crossed I-76. I think the closest one came down onto Barr Lake which was too close. I was so happy to see mommy when she came to pick me up. I thought with everything going on that our house would be a wreck. However nothing happened at out house, everything in the Yard was exactly where we left it. |
| October 3, 2004 | Sunday, another lazy day, well at this age there all lazy days, but mommy & daddy had a lazy days too. I woke up at about 8am, daddy came in to get me and told me I had to be very very quite because mommy was still sleeping. Daddy took a shower and fed me breakfast and then we took off to the store. Daddy bought Sunday morning Doughnut's (I heard he get's this from Grandpa Renke). After we got home mommy was up and so we apent the day together. Mommy took buttons off her pillows & daddy played his new video game "Evil Dead - a fist full of boomstick". Mommy did the laundry, and dad played his other video game "The Guy Game". Mommy made dinner & then daddy talked mommy into playing video games with him.. I think Daddy had a lazier day then mommy. |
| October 2, 2004 | Woo Hoo, I get to see my Nanna today. I love my Nanna, she spoils me (rotten). I woke up this morning about 8am, mommy likes it best when I sleep in, but you'd be awake at 8am too if you went to bed at 9pm. After mommy woke up she gave me a bath (and was surprised to see daddy's bathroom clean). Nanna arrived at about 10am. Nanna and I had a great day, she took me for a walk in my stroller, and played with me. She crawled around with me and helped me find the best toys to play with. I was sad to see her go, but I new that I'd be going with her if mommy would let her. Daddy didn't get home tonight until late because he had to work another open to close shift. At least I get to spend Sunday with mommy & daddy. |
| October 1, 2004 | Today is the first day of October, and what a day it's been. I spent the day with Auntie Karen and we had a great day. The biggest thing that happened today is that I balanced for 3-4 seconds while standing. That's right I'm getting that much closer to walking. Once I get this balance thing down, we can start working on standing up on my own without help from furniture or comit (she growls). |
