Dear Friends & Family,

As you all know I have fallen a little behind on my journal. I apologize and hope that nobody went through any withdrawals. The last couple of months have been a roller coaster ride. My immune system has been tested again and again. It all started at my birthday party when I started feeling a little warm. Turns out I was running a fever. I few days after the party Mom tried to take me in for my one year exam, but they wouldn't do my yearly exam while I was sick. It turned out I had strep throat and was put on antibiotics. I ended up having a reaction to the Amoxicillan and now they think I am allergic to the stuff. I'm know 14 months old and I still haven't been in for my one year exam because I keep getting sick. I think my fever turned into a cold, then my cold gave me an ear infection, and then I got another cold which made me a little weezy so Dr. Martin put me on a Nebulizer. The good news is that I'm starting to feel better so I'm eating more which is making me gain weight and I'm starting to sleep through the night. Dad says if Istart waking up after I'm off the Nebulizer he's gonna start me on it again just to help me sleep through the night.

Some of the things that I started saying since my 1st birthday is that I call Daddy "Da", I call our dog Comit "Do", I can say "Uh Oh" when I drop something, "Owe" when I fall down, If I want something I'll say "tease" (please), and I can even say "Hi" when I have a phone. I can even say "Hi Da" when Daddy walks in the door.

I love to chase a ball and bring it back, I love playing hide & seek in my Thomas the Train tent. I love falling on pillows, and letting Daddy throw me around (He's still my biggest toy). I love "helping" mom with the laundry, and throwing newspapers all over the house. I love climbing stairs with Nanna, and talking on talking on the phone. I also love playing with Comit and her toys.

Since my first birthday I have learned to throw my own diapers away in the diaper genie / trash can. I've learned that "nite-nite" means it's bed time, so I go straight to my crib and get ready for bed. I'm learning to feed myself with a spoon, and to wave bye-bye. The best thing that I'm learning is how to sit on my potty chair. Daddy says I'm learning to put my best foot forward, especially because it usually ends up in the potty chair.

Another big thing that's been going on in my life is that I started getting my molers. Unfortunately I have been getting four of them all at the same time. Thanks Mommy & Daddy for being there for me through the rough nights.

Holidays are always fun and for Valentine's Day I made Mommy & Daddy a card, for Saint Patricks day we went over to Aunt Regina's house where Grandma Renke made Corned Beef and Cabbage, and I got to play Godzilla with Aunt Regina's lego building. The best holiday by far has got to be Easter. We all spent the day at Aunt Jackie's house where there was a table filled with food, I tried to sneak off with some cheese, but Mommy was watching me like a hawk. After everyone arrived and filled their tummies all the kids went outside to go easter egg hunting. Unfortunately as soon as I got outside all of Daddy's training went out the window, as I tried to run down the block passing every colorful egg on the ground and in the trees. I even got to meet Grandpa's new dog Tippy on Easter, she's cute and tinny.

Another new thing that happened is that I got to have a slumber party with Nanna & Papa Mike. Nanna picked me up at Dad's work, and took me to her house, from their I spent the next couple of days playing with Nanna, unfortunately Papa Mike was feeling sick himself so he didn't play with me too much. Nanna loved it so much that she got to do it again about a week later. Grandpa watched me on April Fools Day. When Dad first told me that not only was Grandpa going to watch me, but he was also going to take me to my doctor's visit, I knew he had to be kidding because it was April Fools Day, but to my surprise not only did Grandpa do a great job, I can't wait to do it again sometime.

Anyway I know this journal entry was a little longer then what your normally used to, but it does cover two months time. So until next time remember that I love you all and I can't wait to see you next time...

Love Always,

Orion
